Head of Engineering Delivery
Lead engineering delivery for mission-critical defence technology.
Rivencore Global Solutions is seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Head of Engineering Delivery to lead the performance and development of our Engineering function.
This is a senior role with accountability for translating engineering strategy into effective execution. You will oversee complex engineering programmes, establish and maintain robust governance and ensure engineering outputs meet quality, safety, regulatory, cost and delivery requirements.
Working across our organisation, you will help ensure the seamless transition of customer requirements from RFQ through design and into production. You will chair design reviews, manage engineering risks and opportunities, drive optimisation and embed Design for Excellence principles throughout the product lifecycle.
You will also lead, coach and develop the engineering team, shaping its structure, capability and succession plans while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, quality and technical excellence.
About you
We are looking for an accomplished engineering leader with strong technical and commercial judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring:
- 15 years’ engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- A prove track record of overseeing and delivering complex engineering projects.
- Knowledge of engineering and project-management tools and processes.
- Strong strategic, analytical and performance-reporting capabilities.
- The ability to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver against challenging deadlines.
- An engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- CEng, PMP or PRINCE2 certification would be desirable.
