About the Role
Rivencore Global Solutions' Vision Business Unit designs and develops advanced vision systems for customers across global defence markets.
Our products include Visual Landing Aid systems that support military aircraft operating from ships and land bases. We deliver innovative, reliable, and safe solutions that meet demanding operational requirements.
As part of our growing team, you will work on complex engineering programmes from concept through to delivery. You will help shape system designs, manage technical risk, and ensure our products meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
Role Overview
As a Vision Systems Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across the full system lifecycle. You will define system architecture, support system integration, and ensure products are safe, secure, and compliant with relevant standards.
You will work closely with engineering, project management, manufacturing, and customers to deliver successful outcomes. You will also undertake the lead technical in system design and documentation in accordance with Rivencore's development lifecycle process.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Lead the technical development of complex vision systems.
- Define and maintain system architecture and requirements.
- Support system integration and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Manage system safety, security, and technical risk.
- Support programme delivery by meeting technical, cost, and schedule targets.
- Plan and support Verification, Validation, and Qualification activities.
- Develop lifecycle and sustainment strategies for products in service.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
